Made to measure shirt finished with a set of classic looking mother of pearl buttons

This is a recent project for a new customer. He knew exactly what he wanted, so he provided me with a length of cloth and sent a shirt that he liked the fit of for me to copy the sizing off:

He also set a deadline for the shirt to be finished, so I worked to the timescale we agreed on, so he could have the new shirt in time for a do he wanted it ready for.

This shirt had all the classic styling you could want on a shirt

• long collar roll

• back pleat & loop

• slimfit

• two button chamfered barrel cuff

• three button collar

• mother of pearl buttons

Usually I use a traditional two-hole or four-hole button for my shirts but I was requested to use a mother of pearl, these cost extra as they're not regular stock, but they really do add a stylish element to the final finish.
