Introducing my service

ABOUT

I have been dressmaking and tailoring for over 36 years with a particular interest in styles from the 1960's & 1970's - with a heavy focus on the mod, skinhead & suedehead eras as this is where my own passion for style lies.

I specialise in the tailoring of these styles, always paying particular attention to the important details and copying them with accuracy & authenticity.

I am a sole trader and not a large business churning out bulk quantities of replica shirts of the same design. All garments are made-to-measure and are individually made to order, by myself. From start to finish I take care of your order so that you are assured of a completely personal service.

MADE TO MEASURE

The service I offer is predominantly made to measure & individually made to order. You choose the style & the fabric, then I tailor it to your size. Up-to-date information on how to place an order is available in the latest catalogue, or you can email me for a quote. You can also supply your own cloth for me to use or you can choose from my seasonal stock. I often use short runs of cloth - stocking just several lengths to ensure a more unique offering for the wearer. Regular stock includes: plain poly-cotton, Oxford cotton, gingham, Chambray, polka dot prints etc. If you can't see what you are looking for ask - other fabrics are available that are not always listed.

READY - TO - WEAR

I am now also offering a small selection of off-the-peg designs that are

listed in my Etsy store, these will be updated regularly. They are limited

edition one-offs, often made using a single piece of cloth - so when they

sell out the stock is not replenished. All shirts are made by myself

here in Great Britain so you know you are buying the same great

product and not mass-produced, factory-made garments. Made in

set sizes of Small, Medium & Large - if you want a garment in your

size you would need to choose my made-to-measure service.
