Fabric shrinkage

I cannot guarantee how a particular fabric will react once it has been worn and washed. I always provide care instructions for your new garment. Most modern fabrics come pre-shrinked from the factory but, I always recommend any fabric that you choose be laundered beforehand to help mitigate any shrinkage. Even when a fabric has been laundered before I cut it, I cannot guarantee that there won't be any further shrinkage. Once I have produced your garment I am not responsible for how it behaves in your care. Current laundry fee is £8.

I always recommend you order a fabric sample of the cloth you choose for your garment before I order and cut your fabric. If you choose a fabric and then decide you don't like the colour/texture etc you will be responsible for all/any costs incurred. Colour reproduction on monitors: I cannot guarantee like for like colour reproduction, as monitors vary, the only true way to clarify colour is to order a sample. Most samples are free, other than postage costs, but some manufacturers charge for their samples and this cost will be passed on to you, I will always advise of this and the decision is yours as to whether you want to pay for an actual sample.

When making a purchase you agree to comply with my terms and conditions. I always send my parcels via Royal Mail Special Delivery Next day unless otherwise arranged with yourself. Special Delivery cover is up to £500 and a recommended service if you want full coverage of the contents of your parcel. Carriage timescales cannot be guaranteed once I send your order. I am not responsible for any delays, damage or loss while your parcel is in transit. Special Delivery is a tracked service and I will always provide a tracking number for you. Any additional costs incurred once the item arrives at its destination, including but not limited to customs taxes, are the responsibility of you the customer.

Your garment is handmade to order by myself, before I commence work on your order I will agree an approximate date with you, if you have a set deadline that you would like me to meet. Every attempt will be made to meet your requirements but cannot be guaranteed due to possible external factors.

If you complete a size measurement form, all measures are your responsibility and you must take these as accurately as possible. Whilst I carefully follow measurements as closely as possible I do have a quarter inch working parameter on all measures.

Returns/refunds on purchases are subject to my absolute discretion and agreement with you the customer before the return is made. Handmade garments are bespoke and therefore unique to the wearer, so I am unable to offer alternative sizes/colours etc. My garments are not factory made/mass produced, alternates are not readily available.

If I agree that a return is possible, once the item has been returned, it will be inspected to make sure it has not been worn or damaged. If the return or exchange is accepted, you will receive a full refund within 48 hours or an exchange note will be issued. I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges on any worn or damaged items. If this is the case, it will be sent back and you will not be entitled to a refund/exchange policy.

Please send the item/s back as soon as possible, if an exchange or refund is necessary and has been agreed with prior consent with myself. Customers are advised to keep a record of proof of postage and you must send your return via a Signed/Trackable service that covers its full value, as I cannot be held responsible for any packages that are not received. In the event of an exchange or refund, please advise me using the contact page/email stating whether you require a refund, and in addition, a brief explanation as to why. I always aim to promptly reply to any query within 48 hours and resolve any issues in a timely fashion, as customer satisfaction/resolution is of the utmost importance.
